Governance
How the Organization Is Run
The organization is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association and by the provisions of the Companies Act, 2017 and the Companies Regulations, 2024 that apply to Section 42 entities.
- Income and property are applied only toward the organization’s objects.
- No dividend or profit is paid to members.
- A board of directors, elected from among the members, manages the organization’s affairs.
- Audited financial statements are prepared as required under the Act.
- Donations from foreign sources are not accepted without prior permission from the relevant authorities.
